Best pizza on the Big Island! One of the best meals I had while on vacation!

Super pizza! Came in for lunch and bought pizza by the slice. Our group had 3 different kinds and they were all great. Price was very reasonable too.

Rude customer service, and overpriced for low quality food.

Don't come hungry. 2 hours and still waiting for our pizza that was supposed to take 1 hour. Cash only. There's a reason I've only been here twice in 4 years.

Walked into the store around 6:50pm, and when I went to the cash to order, the guy asked me if I had previously called and was picking up the order. I said no, I wanted to place an order for takeout. He looked at me, looked very pointedly at the clock on the wall, and then back to me and asked what I wanted to order. I would understand this behavior if they were close to closing, but there were still over 2 hours until they closed. After placing my order, he told me it would be 25-30 minutes. It ended up being more like 45. When they finally gave us our pizza, we brought it back to our lodging, and when we opened it up, it wasn't the pizza I had ordered. In retrospect, I should have checked before we left.The pizza was not bad, but definitely not good. It was mostly dough, and kind of bland.

Aloha, Best pizza on the Big Island. I always call in my order. A good thing takes time. I have never been disappointed.

Everything on da island tastes better, but I still think Boogie Woogie has the best pizza I’ve had yet. Toppings are a lil skimpy but the crust is so good that I forgive them for that. Slather that crust with the garlic butter and mmmmm.

Best calzone and pizza within 100 miles! Ambiance needs some help. But the folks are friendly the food great! They deliver.

Visited Boogie Woogie Pizza on a Wed night recently. This is some of the best pizza we've ever had in our lives, and we've been all over the USA and had pizza in Chicago, etc. The staff was friendly, the restaurant is nicely decorated, we felt at home. And the large pizza we got with shredded chicken was a great value! I only wish we lived closer.

Good pizza but only takes cash. Must be renovating... was kind of weird inside.

Nice place, good food

They only do delivery when they are not busy. Delivery not available during specific hours. Website shows deals they do not honor and have higher prices than website. Also was told they only excepts cash.

They make it seem like it's the customers fault they got the wrong order. Makes me regret ever ordering with them

We just had the best authentic Hawaiian pizza! A great dinner stop after going to the new black sand beach. And by far the cheapest meal for a family of four since we got here last week

Pizza is good, and not too greasy. Don't be discouraged by the look of the buildings in this part of town. The wait was long (50 minutes), so I suggest calling and ordering ahead, but it just means that business is good. The estimated wait was accurate, and it gave us time to wander that part of town, but there isn't much to see when waiting.

One guy behind the counter doing everything- answering phones, cooking and making pizzas, serving customers- all with a great and friendly attitude- felt for him doing so much on his own, Pizza took quite a while (busy time of day too) but was good (the large pizza is Very large!). Parking in back of building via alley if you can't find street parking.

Bought pizza from them Saturday night was the last customer had it instantly when we left it was soggy had no sauce seemed undercooked. Called sun they were closed Monday spoke to the owner she was rude told me she wont do anything about it basically saying no never happened ever in her time making. Told me if other pizza joints did that they wouldn't try to do something about it. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE GREEDY GREEDY OWNERS

I get here at 8:22 pm the place closes at 9 he tellme I can’t get a pizza they stopped taking orders at 8:15. Do you want to make money or not more than 30 mins before the place closes you turn away customers in such a small town. That makes me want to order 3 to 5 pizzas at 8:10 pm and never pick them up.

Get the pizza by the slice. Its survival food for poaha.

Its pizza, its lower puna, its what is there. I do love their garlic butter especially

Amazing pizza and super friendly service. We are vegan and there was no problem getting vegan friendly pizzas (the veggie head and pesto paradise with no cheese). We just moved back to the islands and are currently in quarantine and will definitely be ordering delivery again as well as visiting for takeout or dine in when we are able to.

Told me food would be ready in a hour. Took an hour and a half for a pepperoni pizza. Stood in line to pay after waiting the other extra half hour and was ignored, not even acknowledged until they were done making a pizza. Absolutely rude customer service.

I ordered delivery and when it arrived they told me they only accept cash, the website says that they accept Visa or MasterCard and they never told me this before hand. They should let people know before you order that they only accept cash for deliveries , they could also easily offer to charge over the phone or use a card reader. I would have been happy to call to pay for my order but was not given the opportunity, instead I was met with disbelief that I didn't have cash and was told that I should have said something as if it is my responsibility as the consumer to do so.

Came in at 8:15 (when they accept last orders before 9pm close), super accommodating; insisted we stay to enjoy our food while they cleaned up. The biggest calzone I’ve ever seen. BYOB FYI

Great homemade pizza 😋 daily!

Very sweet and helpful people. It is located in the closest town to where you can see the glow from the erupting volcano (usually only at night). The food was delicious, though using the bathroom was an experience since the light wasn't working. 😀 If it had been closer to where we were staying I would have definitely gone there again.

Great place to eat.. short handed often, so be patient. It's totally worth it!!

Wow, the pizza and calzone were HUGE. Just a heads up, the prices on the website aren't correct. So the 18" pizza is $19 whether it's one or 5 toppings. But it was absolutely worth it. The bread is thick and soft, the cheese was substantial and the sauce isn't too much, which I prefer. Two pieces will fill up most people. The calzone was huge and stuffed full. It could realistically feed 3-4 people easily. It's so big the box couldn't even close, so keep that in mind when driving home with it. The order took 40 minutes which wasn't bad. We just ordered ahead. They told us they only take cash as their card machine is down. Parking to go in to get the food isnt the easiest if Pahoa is busy at that time but you can also park near the bank and walk over. If there are spots open in front of the businesses, those are the easiest to maneuver. When you go to pick up your order, you wait outside and they have you wear your mask right now during the pandemic.

Great food but slow ..gotta love the pizza

Just not as good as they used to be... Very light on the toppings, orders not ready when you get there. Their crust is still really good but you have to top that great crust or your just making bread. I know they can make good pizza, they used to ...hope they raise the price and start usinga reasonable amount of toppings again.

Absolutely loved the pizza ate on it for 3 days and the crust stayed soft kept it in a cooler ate it cold and it was wonderful great experience great service and just love the little place if we come back to the big island will absolutely go get some more

Friendly staff and good pizza, their large five topping pizza for under 20 bucks is one of the best deals around, no beer served here but you can bring your own

You got to try this a local took us her and they sell by the slice...I mean if your really hungry you can order a whole pizza but one slice was good for me... great food

The people here are always kind, helpful, and considerate.

Excellent. The crust, perfect thickness, texture and flavor. The pizza sauce was so tasty and delicious. We ordered the meat lovers and the Ope's club. Excellent flavors. You could taste the different flavors of each ingredient. Fresh, flavorful and very delicious! My new favorite pizza spot! Also very friendly service.

Pizza well made. Don't be discouraged by the long wait because it's soooo worth it. We ordered The Ultimate pizza and it was fantastic. We watched as all the ingredients were freshly sliced and prepared and we could definitely taste the freshness. We really loved the crust too. It was flavorful and buttery, but not greasy. The spot seems to be a local favorite because we saw person after person come in to pick up their pizzas. I'd say this spot is more well known for call-in orders, but we did eat in the dining room. It seems like they're going through a remodel, but it was still a comfy place to hang out. Once we started chatting with the kitchen staff, we realized they're a super friendly bunch.Bottom line, despite the long wait and somewhat dishevelled appearance, it's incredible Pizza and the kitchen puts an enormous amount of focus into making the perfect pizza!

We definitely feel lucky to live so close. They have the best pizza we have tasted since we got here. Ordered the "white pie" and added pepperoni. Right now they are cash only and worth the paper!

This place is simply a must if you are going to the Big Island. Being three always hungry Canadians, we spotted this place the first day and we will always remember it. The pizzas are fresh and baked right in front on you! The owners were so kind for not turning us around, arriving close to the closure. Overall we enjoyed the food and definitely the aloha vibes
